Bear with me for sometime as I try to explain my problem. So for an exercise I need to run kali and windows on vmware and have them communicate with each other. For this I was suggested to initially keep both of them on NAT and then I could ping them. But for some reason the windows ISO isn't connecting to the internet when set on NAT but rather bridged. Kali by default is on NAT and able to connect to the internet. Currently my host machine is also windows 11 and I am performing an exercise for which I want both these VMs to communicate and wanted to know how to enable the windows VM to be connected to the internet on NAT mode.
PS:-I have tried re-installing and getting a new network adapter setup for windows but it ain't working. For some information, this windows iso is a preconfigured that we received having a domain controller configured already as the regular iso from windows official site is not getting installed on vmware for some odd reason, encountering lot of bugs.Thanks!
